Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of obsidralabs.com and any services you buy from Obsidra Labs. By using the site or hiring us, you agree to them.

Our services

Before we start any project, we agree in writing (an email is fine) on what we'll build, the price and the timeline. Package descriptions on this site are summaries; your written quote is what counts.

Payment

Prices are in US dollars. Payment terms (for example, a deposit before work begins) are listed in your quote. Monthly Care renews each month until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime before the next month starts.

Who owns the work

Once you've paid, you own the spreadsheets and automations we build for you, and they live in your own Google account. We keep the right to reuse our general methods, know-how and building blocks in other projects, but never your data or your business details.

Your part

You agree to give us the access and information the project needs, and to keep your own backups of important data. You're responsible for how you use what we build, including following any laws that apply to your business.

Support and fixes

Each package includes a support period for fixing anything that doesn't work as agreed. After that, changes are covered by Monthly Care or quoted separately.

Third-party services

Our work often relies on Google Sheets, Gmail and other outside services. We can't control changes, outages or limits those companies introduce, but we'll help you adjust when something changes.

No guarantees

We work hard to deliver reliable systems, but the site and our services are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind beyond what we agree to in writing. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the work involved.

Obsidra Ledger

Obsidra Ledger will come with its own license and terms when it launches. Projections, tax estimates and insights in Ledger are guides, not financial, tax or legal advice.
